Rebecca Hoey has a B.S. in Business Economics and a minor in Computer Art from the State University College at Oneonta. Rebecca started taking pictures when she was 12. She fell in love with photography while attending college and spent many hours in the dark room. She started photographing weddings when she was 20. She currently is photographing weddings in Cooperstown, Oneonta, and Syracuse. She is always willing to travel for her clients. She has a passion for capturing moments that last a life time.

Special Thanks too: I would like to thank my mother for being my number one fan who has taught me to never give up on my dreams. She has been there every step of the way and taught me to believe in myself. I would also like to thank my three sisters, without them I wouldn’t be here. Their support and word of mouth have taken me into a direction I never thought possible. I would also like to thank my mentor Professor Charlie Winters who taught me how to see light. My inspiration Annie Leibovitz. I realized that I have talent and an eye for photography. I didn’t realize how much I resemble her and her hard work encourages me to be the best that I can be.

Most Rewarding: When I walk into a clients house and see my photos hanging on the walls. The emails, letters and phone calls from clients thanking me for the wonderful photos that I captured. That is what keeps me motivated.
